Kim Hyun Joong’s New Fanclub “Henecia” Is Now Open!

SS501‘s Kim Hyun Joong will be making his solo debut in the beginning of June and KeyEast has begun preparations for his fan club.
KeyEast began a fanclub naming contest that received over 500 submissions. Kim Hyun Joong personally chose his favorite — Henecia. The name combines the first letter of his name, H, and the latin word, benecia (blessed).
KeyEast released a statement today saying that the fanclub is now open to members for Kim Hyun Joong’s solo debut.
Membership applications will not be restricted to Korean fans and international fans will be able to apply as well.

Kim Hyun Joong’s Hot Debut With Break Down!

Kim Hyun Joong has enjoyed an insane amount of popularity across Asia for his roles on the hit dramas Boys Before Flowers and Playful Kiss. His agency, KeyEast Entertainment, has promised his fans, known henceforth as Henecia, that big things were in store for the young Hallyu star, and they’ve stuck by their word with Hyun Joong’s latest project.
This time the charismatic leader of SS501 will be trying his hand as a full-fledged solo artist, following in the footsteps of his members Hyung Joon, Jung Min, and Young Saeng. (Kyu Jong is currently starring in the musical Goong).
On June 8, Kim Hyun Joong’s first solo album, Break Down was released simultaneously across Asia, including Korea, China, Japan, Hong Kong, and Thailand.

Kim Hyun Joong Reveals “Lucky Guy” MV

 

After a series of video teasers, Kim Hyun Joong has finally put us out of our fangirl misery by releasing the full music video for his comeback single, “Lucky Guy.” His new mini album, Lucky, dropped on October 11.
In “Lucky Guy,” we see a side of Hyun Joong that is a complete turnaround from the concept of his previous single “Breakdown,” which had showcased a hip-hop style that fans rarely witnessed. This time around, he still keeps his suave demeanor — but as a wanted outlaw who lives the high-class casino lifestyle.
He picks up the sexy actress Hong Soo Hyun along the way, who looks incredibly stunning from just about every angle. The song fits the concept rather well, and although it’s a completely different sound from what was heard on “Breakdown,” Hyun Joong clearly shows his versatility through this memorable comeback single.
